skin in the game

Asking for help and support is not something that comes easy for me, especially when asking for money. I hadn't planned on doing so, but friends have been asking how they can give financially. One friend mentioned they felt like they were more invested in supporting me, both in prayer and keeping up with the trip when they have also supported financially - aka having skin in the game. 

I have two non-profit organizations that I will be working with while abroad - in Uganda and Cambodia. Additionally, I'm asking for support more immediately for the church we partner with in Ethiopia. Unfortunately there is not a non-profit established for giving to the needs in Ethiopia, so any gifts given for that purpose will not be tax deductible. 

Please read more on my SUPPORT page about each area and how you can help. From there, feel free to donate as you feel led. All three options will provide support directly to the people I visit and are not funds for my flights, accommodations, food, etc.
